New Look Of Catscity

Been looking for an easy to use template but didn’t find any that I’m satisfied with. Finally found a layout that is very easy to use and don’t need to have too much of customisations. Clean and plain layout will do.

In the process of adding whatever component that are missing now Thanks for your support all these while and I hope you like this layout. Frankly, the previous one was a disaster but didn’t plan to change it because I couldn’t find nice and simple layout back then.

Food & Tea @ tHe Spring

Food & Tea located at tHe Spring. The entrance is from the outside. It’s located at the same row as Starbucks.

The menu, it stated that there are more than 200 of choices of food for you. Indeed they have a lot. I havedifficulty in decideding which to order. It’s franchise. You can find them in KL, Johor and Ipoh. They served Hong Kong cuisines.

Double Happiness(RM4.20), it tasted sweet.

Purple Rain(RM5.90) but it’s blue. Hahaha…

Island Gateaway Kiwi(RM4.90), portion is big!

One of the porridges available (RM5.50), sorry, forgot what it’s called

Roasted Honey Spare Ribs with Shanghai Style Vegetable Rice(RM8.60), portion wasn’t big and it looks different from the pciture displayed in the menu.

Deep Fried Chicken with Shanghai Style Vegetable Rice(RM7.90)

We spent about RM40+ dining here. Do bear in mind that they do charge GST and also service tax. All together is 15%

Dockers Contest

I’m sure you know what is Dockers. It’s a brand for jeans. Do you own a Dockers? Everybody loves Dockers! It’s no stranger to the young and old. We all want a pair of it! I just found out that you can buy Dockers online. Hehehe…

Now Dockers is having a contest. The Dockers contest is to create a Dockers TV Commercial Contest. The videos are submitted by people like you and me instead of the pro. Imagine that you will get you video showing in TV, not a normal TV program mind you… It will be in one of the popular NBC show. It’s the Tonight Show with Jay Leno! WOW! That’s so cool!

Joining it is very easy, you don’t have to purchase anything, just join! You only need to create a 30-second video advertisement for Dockers. Now! Gather up all your creativity juices, get your friends and family to join you in the video production. I’m sure it’s going to be fun!

Too bad, we in Malaysia can’t join. It’s only open to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. If you are qualified, go join! Terry’s Place

It’s surprising that there are actually a place that sells such cheap and affordable, big portion western food. Summore it’s at a place that you didn’t expect to sell, a shop that sells bird nest! Hahaha…

Mushroom Soup + Garlic Cheese Bread only RM4.50! Portion was big!

Mixed Grill Choice of Mushroom & Black Pepper Sauce (RM22), where can you get mixed grill for only RM22?!?!

Stewed Lamb Shank Served with Chef Special Sauce(RM22), it’s so cheap! It’s cooked with red wine and according to my friend, it tasted really good.

Oven Baked Lamb Shank Served with Mint Sauce(RM22), another RM22!! WOW! I like this.

Potato, Fruits Salad(RM6)

Eggs (RM1/each)

“Kung Pao” Chicken Rice (RM5), it’s quite salty, it’s supposed to be spicy but it’s not.

Butter Chicken Rice (RM5), no idea how it tasted, hahaha…

Seafood Fried Rice, it smelt like cha kueh

Drink here are recommended as they have many choices and great place to hang out with friends but the food served was a bit slow.

Desserts @ Boulevard

Desserts!!! Ice cream lovers, this is one place you might want to go. Finally Desserts is opened in Boulevard Mall last on the 24th April(if not mistaken) but the one at tHe Spring isn’t open yet until somewhere end of this month.

This is Desserts at Bouleavard Mall. I’m sure many people had blogged about it.

We went there on a weekday afternoon, therefore it’s quite deserted hahaha… That’s good. That way we can take as much photos as we want and take our time to choose the ice cream that we want to try. You can taste the ice cream there before you order.

Besides ice cream, you can also get Illy Coffee Selection, Clipper Tea Selection, Ice Blended, and fruits.

There are so many flavours available. Will teach you how to save money when having ice cream here later. There are Pandan, Vanilla Bean, Blueberry, Rocky Road, Tiramisu, Mango, Forest Berries Yoghurt, Creamy Choc Chip, D’Kic Kac, Mocha Swirl, Cookies N Cream, Coconut, Green Tea, Raspberry Apple Shortcake, Cappucino, Watermelon, Banana Yoghurt and so much more!

We ordered a Triple Cup (RM6.50). In this cup we have Mango, Forest Berries Yoghurt, and Banana Yoghurt.

One Life & Home Cooking @ tHe Spring

So sorry for the late post. Kinda busy lately. Too many post in queue too. These are what going on last week.

One Life by World Vision. I’m the supporter of Wordl Vision and had join Hungry For Hope 30-Hour Famine last year at Miri.

‘One Life Revolution’ exhibition. It is an interactive exhibition that allows visitors to walk in the shoes of children who endure extraordinary hardships because of AIDS/HIV and trafficking.

You can buy their merchandise here such as flip flops and t-shirts to help them with their cause.

Many people queued up to experience the exhibition. I didn’t go in because I need to attend to some other things. Did you go in? Feel free to share your experience with us.

By the way, Hungry For Hope 30-Hour Famine will be held in Kuching this year end. Will keep you posted about it.

Besides that, Ta Kiong Supermarket was holding a Cooking Demonstrations.

You have to pay to have hands on experience with the chefs else you can only see what they are doing.

This is the opportunity for shoppers to buy the ingredients used for the demo so that theytry it out themselves at home.
