Four Points by Sheraton Kuching Hotel had its soft opening during the weekend. It’s a 4-start hotel offering 5-star services at affordable rate. It will open on 17th January 2009. This is the first Four Points by Sheraton hotel in South East Asia.
It’s located at Jalan Lapangan Terbang Baru, very near to RH Plaza. You will easily spot it. Near to the airport also.
There are 421 guest rooms. each with a bed, large workspace with ergonomic desk and chair, a 32-inch TV and a laptop sized safe. There is also direct link for information on flight services.
Premier category of rooms provides Wi-Fi access services and the use of iPod entertainment docks.
Even the handicapped people are not missed out. There are few rooms and facilities specially made to support them when they stay there.
Other facilities include 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa with 8 treatment rooms and steam room and sauna. Also a 24-hour business centre.
There will be more to come in the future.
The unique features of the hotel are:
- Longest hotel lobby in Sarawak, stretches 550 feet long
- Biggest ballroom in town, can accommodate up to 1,300 people for sit down banquet
- First hotel to be connected online with KIA
It took Global Upline 11 months to complete the hotel.
For now, the hotel is having special promotion for its grand opening. The room rate is only RM250 nett per room. Only valid during the promotion period. The offer runs from January-March 31.
It includes a complimentary parking, sing/double accommodation in comfort room inclusive of breakfast and late chech-out till 2pm(subject to availability).
